Warm up- 6.5 miles 9:07 ap

Mmmm, grapefruit.  Ok. I met Josse at the Elem. where the 5k started.  I've been so tired lately so I didn't run yesterday hoping I would have more energy today.  I felt pretty good, still a little sluggish.

5k- 8:13 ap

1- 8:03

2- 8:20

3- 8:15

I knew I wouldn't be fast today, but thought I would have been happy if I was able to pull off an 8 min pace.  I wasn't registered and I didn't have any pre race adrenaline so I just ran.  I pushed but probably could have pushed more.

Cool down- 3.4 miles 9:07 ap

Started feeling hungry and tired but tried pushing it a little here too. Lots of 5k loops, but it was a pretty good day.

I think you did great. Know to look to the next nestle 5k and have the goal be sub-8 pace.

Thanks. I have a hard time giving myself credit but considering that 5k's are not my thing and where I'm at on my everday runs I did good. Here I come sub 8's!

I thought you did great today. 13 miles total? Incredible. I liked your comment about chasing after Josse's bum. Only a sister could say that :) It was nice running with you today.
