Decided last night to do this race but was still debating whether or not I wanted to spend the money this morning. Got ready and decided to drive over, still not sure. Decided I would probably regret not doing it. And I would have. I had a good time and it was a good last bike race for the year. I've ridden City Creek several times but I have never pushed it this hard. It's a trip feeling what the legs do when you're pushing your hardest uphill for that long. From my experience, bike races are kin of an estimation on the distance so I was really glad when it was exactly what they said it would be. I wouldn't have lasted much longer. It was short and fast. I was pretty jello-legged after. And that's the way it should be :0)

@Rachelle Biking is just different than running. I've spent a lot of time this summer getting conditioned for it. I'm sure you'd kick my butt going head to head :0) Excellent cross trainer, for sure!

@Kelli She loves getting awards. I think she's pretty cute too :0) Especially when she wears her pink skirt. I wish I could pull off the skirt look. You wear the skirt nicely too.
